* February 26, 1939, Csilizradvány / Slovak Hungarian director, theatre director, hereditary member of the Géza Gárdonyi Theatre ; ; His parents were József Beke and Ilona Füssy. Between 1954 and 1958 he was a student at the Hungarian Teacher Training College in Bratislava. Between 1959 and 1963 he studied acting at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Bratislava, and between 1963 and 1968 he studied theatre directing at the Academy of Theatre and Film Arts in the class of Kálmán Nádasdy. In 1969 he founded the Thália Theatre in Košice. In 1976 he came to Hungary for political reasons. Between 1976 and 1978 he was the director of the Miskolc National Theatre. In 1978 he moved to Hungary with his family. Between 1978 and 1984 he was the chief director of the Katona József Theatre in Kecskemét, and between 1984 and 1990 he was the director of the People's Theatre. Between 1990 and 1994 he was the director and director of the Jókai Theatre in Komárno. Since 1994 he has been the secretary general and member of the board of the Hungarian Theatre Association. Between 1996 and 2001 he was the director and director of the Gárdonyi Géza Theatre in Eger. Between 2001 and 2010 he was the director and artistic advisor of the Thália Theatre in Kász.
