* 1826. August 26. Rimaszombat - † Budapest, November 6. 1904. / Doctor ; ; He first studied Lutheran theology, and during the War of Independence he was a lieutenant in the Hungarian army. In 1855 he obtained a medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine in Pest. In 1864 he was a private teacher, and in 1869 he opened the forty-bed "private surgical and physical therapy hospital" in Buda, which he later expanded with the first Budapest hydrotherapy hospital. He was the first Hungarian practitioner of orthopedics, and also carried out literary activities.
