* Klenóc, November 16, 1754 – † Ochtina, April 18, 1825 / Lutheran pastor, church and historical writer ; ; He studied in his native village, in Dobsina from 1768 to 1772, and in Késmárk from 1772 to 1779. He taught at the elementary school in Osgyán from 1779 to 1781. He was a student at the University of Wittenberg from 1781 to 1783. Upon returning to his homeland, he was ordained a priest and until 1795 he was pastor in Ochtina, then in Csetnek, later a notary and archdeacon. He primarily wrote church history, statistics and popularization articles, works and textbooks in Latin and occasionally in Czech. Many of his works, including a summary of the history of the persecution of Protestants in biblical Czech, have survived in manuscript, comprising about 40 volumes. His son, János László Bartholomaeides (after 1787–1855) was born in Ochtina and was an Evangelical pastor. In his work Memoriae Ungarorum qui in alma condam universitate Vitebergensi a tribus proxime concludendis seculis studia in ludis patriis coepta confirmarunt, published in 1817, he published the names and biographical ; data of Hungarian students who studied at the University of Wittenberg between 1522–1817. ; ; His main works: ; Inclyti Superioris Ungariae Gömöriensis notitia historico-geographico-statistica, 1806–1808.
