* Komáromfüss, April 24, 1785 – † Damazérkarcsa, September 20, 1865 / lawyer, legal historian, member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences ; ; He completed his high school studies in Bratislava and Nagyszombat. Between 1801 and 1805, he studied philosophy and law at the Bratislava Academy, became a notary of the royal register in 1806, and obtained a lawyer's degree in 1809. In 1810, he became a second notary of Bratislava County, and in 1817, its chief notary. In 1823, he was elected a vice-governor, and in August 1825, he became a delegate of Bratislava County to the Diet. He also supported Pál Felsőbüki Nagy's struggle to make the Hungarian language official. In 1827, he resigned from the county service and became an employee of the royal register. In 1830 he was appointed court councilor. In 1848 he became head of department of the minister responsible for the king's personal affairs. He held this position until September 1848, then retired to his estate in Csallóköz. The Hungarian Academy of Sciences elected him a director in 1830, and in 1858 he became an honorary member.
