* Mosonszolnok, October 2, 1870 – † Budapest, November 20, 1921 / smelting engineer, chief mining advisor ; ; He completed his studies in Selmecbánya in 1896 and received his doctorate in chemistry from the University of Cluj-Napoca in 1902. He began his practical activity in the rolling mill of the Hernádvölgyi Hungarian Iron and Steel Co. in Sorompa. From 1901, he was the deputy head of the Ferrometallurgy Department of the Selmecbánya Mining College, and from 1904 to 1919, he was a teacher. He organized the college's Ferrometallurgy experimental laboratory. He did significant work in the development and modernization of domestic smelting engineer training and mining and metallurgical higher education. As early as 1919, he proposed the relocation of the college to Miskolc.
