* Nagymihály, 1899. Apr. 21. – † Bratislava, 1983 publicist ; ; Her father, dr. Adolf József Kállai, was the editor-in-chief of the Felsőzemplén newspaper until 1918. She graduated from the Veres Pálné High School in Bratislava, then studied Hungarian and German languages, philosophy, and art history at university. In 1918, she had to stop her studies due to political changes. In 1923, she married Jenő Bárkány, an engineer. They lived in Prešov, and spent the war years in Bratislava. In the 60s and 70s, she was a colleague of the ÚSZ, writing reviews and reports on fine arts. ;
