* Rimaszombat, July 13, 1973 – / writer, literary historian, associate professor ; ; daughter of poet István Bárczi (1943–2012) and writer Magda Kovács (1946–). She spent her childhood in Tornalján, where she completed her primary school education. She graduated from the Hungarian Gymnasium in Košice (1991). She obtained a teaching certificate in Hungarian language and literature – singing and music at the Pedagogical College in Nyitra (today: Konstantin Philosophical University) in 1996. She then became a lecturer at the Department of Hungarian Studies. In 1998–2001, she was a student at the Doctoral School of Literature of the ELTE University in Budapest. She is currently the vice-dean of the Faculty of Central European Studies of the university. Her research interests include the 20th century. Hungarian literature, primarily the poetry of László Mécs (Szellemidezés. Mécs László studies, 2008). He also writes short stories (Keselyű hava, 2004).
