* Gömörpanyit, April 11, 1943. / poet, journalist, teacher ; ; He obtained a Hungarian-Slovak teaching diploma at the Pedagogical College in Nitra (1966). Between 1964 and 1970 he taught in Fegyvernek and Nagyölvet. From 1970 he was a lecturer at the ÚSZ, from 1971 at the Csemadok KB, and in 1973 he was a colleague of the Szabad Földműves. Between 1973 and 2003 (until his retirement) he taught in Tornalj. ; – His poems were published in Hét, ISZ, Új Ifjúság from 1962, and his literary reports were published by the ÚSZ (1970–1971). His only volume of poetry, In Front of the Mirror, was published in 1968. Its tone essentially forms a transition between the “eights” and the “one-eyed ones.” He delivered a promising performance, but later he did not live up to the hope that he would complete his poetry. According to Árpád Tőzsér, the “aspect of reality” and the “public message not elevated to aesthetics” were at work in his volume, but his poems also contained “a higher order of cognition: the demand for philosophical generalization.” The experience of the village lent “continuous metamorphosis” and visual freshness to his poems. ; ; Works: A szőlőhegyről, rip., VÚSZ 1970.
