The interior of the St. Ladislaus Church in Ógyalla

Other - other

Adrianna Réckyné Bögi photographed the St. László Church in 2006, one day before the Lord's Day procession. The author, whose monograph on Ógyalla was the first to be published, had previously focused on Art Nouveau architecture, including the St. László Church. ; On the right in the picture is an altarpiece from the old church - the Madonna with the Cross image type (Virgin Mary assumed into Heaven). On the left, Anna teaching the child Mary also dates from the 18th century, although the 1780 visitation no longer mentions it. (From the monograph of B. A. Réckyné, 2007) Above, to the right of the organ, there is a Black Madonna painting, supposedly from the second half of the 18th century (Súpis pamiatok na Slovensku. Vol. 1, 1967, p. 473). This painting was placed in the sacral exhibition hall in 2020.
