* Košice, September 13, 1708 – † Boldogújfalu, February 15, 1750 / poet, priest, Jesuit science historian; ; He entered the Jesuit order in Trenčín in 1724. He completed his university studies in Nagyszombat. He worked as a teacher in various convents (Sopron, Košice, Komárom, Nagyszombat and Bánya Besztercebánya), then he was a preacher in Nagyvárad and Eger. In 1742 he left the order and was a pastor first in Jászladány and Sirok, and finally in Boldogújfalu until his death. He sang the famous Hungarian kings and princes in verses. His work Res litteraria Hungariare, published in Košice in 173557, is a kind of attempt at a historical summary of Hungarian literature. In the introduction to the work, he also summarized the history of Hungarian schools, libraries and printing houses. His other book: Celebriores Hungariae Reges cum praeclaris principibus collati..., 1734.
