* Bratislava, April 28, 1951. / poet, art writer, translator ; ; poet, art writer, translator. He graduated from the Comenius University in Bratislava in 1976 with a degree in art history, and between 1977 and 1980 he worked at the Art History Department of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. He worked on the editorial board of several Slovak-language journals (e.g. Výtvarný život, Profil, Verejnosť, Kultúrny život, Harmónia, Senior). He is currently a staff member of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. ; – Since 1976, his art criticisms, mostly in Slovak and to a lesser extent in Hungarian, as well as his exhibition and festival reviews, have been published regularly.
