* Komárom, 1921. Nov. 8. – † Budapest, 1977. Aug. 30. / historian. ; ; He completed his high school in Komárom and his liberal arts studies in Budapest. Afterwards he lived in Mo., from 1948 he held high positions, became a university professor, then an academic member, and from 1960 until his death he was the chairman of the Hungarian-Czechoslovak Historians' Joint Committee. He began his research with Czech-Slovak-Hungarian relations, and continued with the modern history of the peoples of East-Central Europe.
