Vága, 1969; In the photo, István Bugyinszky and Mária Bugyinszky (born Forró), on their golden wedding anniversary. ; ; ,,He was not an organist in 1969, but a cantor. His name is István Bugyinszky. He has a good voice, a strong voice, and a church-loving spirit. Since 1945, he has been the leading singer of the church. A naturalist. A peasant from the village. This is not a big surprise. After all, since 1945, this has generally been the case in Hungarian villages. Hungarian schools have been closed, Hungarian teachers have moved away. ; During World War I and until the end of World War II, the organist of the Vága church was József Kneif, a headmaster, and then his son Tibor and his wife Piroska. They were qualified organists. They did their work with a sense of professionalism. The people have only good memories of them in this respect. Piroska played the organ and sang in an artistic way. The old man Kneif and his wife died in Vága and are buried here. Every year they have a Holy Mass for the salvation of their souls. The young couple moved out during the deportations in 1946. ; After that, the new Slovak notary played the organ for 2-3 years. The notary's office was abolished, and he moved out. After that, István Bugyinszky led the church singing until 1975.'' ; From the book by Lajos Danczi: History of the Vága Parish
