* Beregszász, August 1, 1893 – † Ipolyság, July 17, 1985 / pulmonologist, ; head of the Palace Sanatorium in Újtátrafüred ; ; He obtained his doctorate from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Budapest in 1916. For a while he worked at the Korányi Clinic and then at the Queen Elizabeth Sanatorium in Budapest. It was at this time that he met his first wife, the stepdaughter of Miklós Szontagh (Alsókubin) Szóntagh, Sr., and settled in Újtátrafüred, where he was appointed chief physician of the Palace Sanatorium, which had just been built. In the 1920s, his patients included the distinguished poet Árpád Tóth, who had his severe lung disease treated in the High Tatras and wrote several times about the time he spent there, as well as about his treating physician. Angyalossy was invited to Italy in the mid-1930s, where he earned another doctorate in Rome and took a state exam in Italian in Milan. He was the director of the Hungaria Sanatorium in Meran until 1940, then returned to Hungary and became the head of the pulmonary hospital in Érsekújvár. Towards the end of World War II, in early 1945, he was placed in a military hospital, which was sent to Germany by train, but only reached Prague. The hospital was set up in Běchovice, near the Czech capital, and continued to operate for a while after the end of World War II. According to him, the locals persecuted him, but he decided to return home. Since he had lost his citizenship, he only got a job in Ipolyszakállos in the early 1950s, where he worked as a district doctor until 1976. He then moved to Ipolyság and died there at the age of 92.
