May. 22. / political historian, local historian, electrical engineer ; ; He completed his primary school education in his hometown, and graduated from the Hungarian Gymnasium in Komárom (1977). He obtained a diploma from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague (1982). Between 1984–1991 he worked for the District Service Company in Komárom, then as a private entrepreneur (1991–1994). Between 1994 and 1998, he was the deputy mayor of Gúta, and since 1999, he has worked in various central state administration institutions: head of the Minority Department of the Slovak Government Office (1999–2000), head of the office of the President of the Public Procurement Office (2000–2002), and head of the office of the Ministry of Agriculture (2002–). Between 1999 and 2002, he edited the public newspaper Gútai Újság. Since 1982, he has been engaged in local history and ethnographic collection work, primarily publishing papers on the traditional farming of the population of Gúta and its region in collected study volumes (e.g.: Animal husbandry, ed. Fehérváry Magda, Gúta traditional farming in the first half of the 20th century, Csehszl. M. Népr. Társ., Komárom 1992, A lelédi állattársas [ed. Liszka József], Lelédtraditional farming in the first half of the 20th century, Szlov. M. Népr. Társ.–Lilium Aurum, Komárom–Dunaszerdahely 1994). He also publishes political history and journalistic articles in Slovak and Hungarian newspapers. His research on the Czechoslovak and Hungarian political parties of the period between 1918–1938 is significant. He published a longer study in the Forum Social Science Review entitled Hungarian organizations and movements in Czechoslovakia (2000/1, 3–28., 2000/2, 67–84.). His writings appear in domestic and Hungarian journals and yearbooks.
