He graduated from high school in Rozsnyó, and obtained a teaching qualification at the Faculty of Pedagogy in Nitra (1982). He taught in Jólész and Dernő, was a regional employee of Új Szó for a while, and then was the district secretary of Csemadok. He is one of the founders and leaders of the Pákh Albert Society, founded in 1993, organizer of the Czabán Samu Days in Rozsnyó, and vice president of the Gömöri–Kishonti Museum Association. ; – His writings have been published in Gömöri Hajnal, Új Szó, Nő and Honismeret. He is the editor of the local history booklets published by the Csemadok JB and the Pákh Albert Society (the history of the villages of Lice and Lekenye, the yearbook of the Pákh Albert Society, the memory of Sándor Petőfi and László Vass on the occasion of the inauguration of their memorial plaque in Rožsnyó). At the end of the 1980s, he wrote a series about the Hungarian villages of the Rožsnyó district in Gömöri Hajnal, which Csemadok also published in booklet form. In 1996, he compiled a publication containing rich traditional material entitled Rožsnyói Kalendárium.
