* Bellus, November 3, 1909 – † Budapest, September 5, 1979 / teacher, numismatist, entomologist ; ; He graduated from teacher training in Esztergom, taught briefly in Váco, then was an assistant teacher in Kisterenye from 1929 to 1939. In addition to his little-appreciated teaching work, he also dealt with numismatics and the history of paper money during these years. He had a coin collection of more than 6,000 pieces, and the French Numismatic Society also elected him as an associate member. One condition for this was that the prospective member had a university degree. Therefore, Béla Ambrus – secretly! – graduated from the geography and history department at the Pázmány Péter University in Budapest and thanks to this, he was appointed biology teacher and then director of the Pesterzsébet Gymnasium in 1939. At that time, his interest turned primarily to plant pests and wasps. He is considered the most thorough expert on wasps in Hungary. He was a diligent hiker until his old age and probably contracted meningitis from ticks on one such occasion, which proved fatal. ; ; His main works: ; Hungary's Paper Money Emergency 1914-1919. VIII. 1-ig. Volume I-II., 1986, ; The Monetary System of the Hungarian Council of People's Republic, 1979, ; Cynipida-gubacsok – Cecidia Cynipidarum, 1974.
