* Nagykapos, 24 May 1943 / mechanical engineer, university professor, rector ; ; He completed his primary school education in his hometown between 1949 and 1957. He graduated from the Hungarian Industrial School in Košice in 1961. In 1966 he obtained a mechanical engineer diploma from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Technical University of Košice. Between 1966 and 1990 he was a specialist teacher (machine elements, mechanical engineering) at the Hungarian-language Secondary Industrial School in Košice ("the Košice Industrial"). Between 1985 and 1997 he was a lecturer at the Department of Engineering Teacher Training of the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava. In 1990 he became a doctor (PhD.) of the Technical University of Bratislava and at the same time the head of the training at the department's branch in Košice. Between 1990 and 1997, he was the director of the Hungarian-language Secondary Industrial School in Košice, and between 1997 and 2004, he was the head of the Department of Engineering Teacher Training at the Technical University of Košice. In 1998, he was habilitated as an associate professor at the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava. Between 2002 and 2006, he was a representative of the National Council of the Slovak Republic for the Hungarian Coalition Party. In 2004, he managed the organization and construction of the Selye János University in Komárom as a ministerial commissioner, and on January 31, 2005, Slovak President Ivan Gašparovič officially appointed him as the rector of the Selye János University. He held this position until 2009. In 2009–2011, he was the head of the department at Selye János University, and from 2010, he was the director of the Adult Education Institute in Komárom and a senior research fellow at Szolnok College. In 2012, the President of Hungary, János Áder, appointed him a university professor. His professional activities are primarily related to the organization of new opportunities for secondary technical education, the expansion of adult education in Hungarian in Slovakia, and the development of educational methodology. His most significant merit is that education began at the first Hungarian university in Slovakia under his leadership.
