Oct. 27. / folk music collector, folk music writer, folk musician ; ; After graduating from the Construction Vocational School in Losonc (1987), he studied at the Technical College in Košice (1987–1988), and then graduated in ethnography from the ELTE Faculty of Music in Budapest (1997). He works at the Institute of Musicology of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He mainly researches Hungarian and Central European instrumental folk music.
