*1962, Baraca, † 2001. Apr. 28/30., Diószeg / Teacher. ; ; He graduated from Rimaszombat, then obtained a lower-level teacher and music teacher certificate from the Pedagogical College in Nitra. He was one of the founders of the Ghymes ensemble. From 1988 he was a teacher at the Hungarian primary school in Nádszeg. In addition to his teaching work, he was the conductor of several choirs (in Nádszeg, Vásárút, Pozsonyepérjes). His name became known throughout the country when in 1996 he refused to give his students only a monolingual (Slovak) certificate. With this courageous, but in the circumstances of the time, illegal behavior, he came into conflict not only with the authorities, but also with his colleagues and superiors, and also with the then mayor of Nádszeg. In order to prove his case, he went on a hunger strike, and to compensate for his withheld salary, he gave an impromptu concert in the streets of Komárom with his daughters. When the MKP became a member of the government coalition after the 1998 parliamentary elections, he demanded a fair settlement of his case and the subsequent payment of his unpaid salary. He filed several lawsuits, but to no avail. He was eventually dismissed from his job for violating work discipline. In 2001, he committed suicide. He was laid to rest in Baraca. An annual commemoration is held at his grave, marked with a kopje tree.
