* Tarcadobó, July 12, 1910 – † Budapest, April 1, 1978 / teacher, professional writer, volleyball coach ; ; He completed his university studies in Prague, at the Charles University, and in 1934 he obtained a teaching diploma in mathematics and graphic geometry. He began his teaching career in Komárom, then after World War II he taught first at the Zrínyi Miklós and later at the Eötvös József Gymnasium in Budapest. In 1953–1954 he was the head of the mathematics department of the Budapest Pedagogical Training Institute, and later he worked as the national inspector of mathematics education. He was introduced to volleyball while still a university student in Prague, and from 1946 he was also a volleyball coach in Budapest. Between 1948 and 1962, he led the Hungarian national volleyball team several times, and later was the president of the Hungarian Volleyball Association.
