Those who knew him spoke of him with respect, considering him a man who lived for his students and the village.; In Mátyusföld, the first Slovak school was established in Diószeg (1924), in Tallós in 1925, in Vízkelet, Nemeskosút, Felsőszeli and Taksony in 1928, in Galánta in 1931, in Vága in 1932.
