Main Street behind the church

Most of the houses that remained were sold by the descendants and with this a chapter was closed, a life's work passed. Faces, names, personalities, whom we grew up knowing, whom we liked and who were part of our lives, our everyday lives. We met every day, and although we didn't talk too much, we were still connected by some invisible but clearly perceptible bond. A sense of belonging.
