Vága, 1950s; An old photo showing the old football field on the Vág bank, photographed from the old embankment of the river. The embankment was also the grandstand. The gate on the Vág side was called the “upper gate” and the one on the south side was called the “lower gate”. When the photo was taken, there was no changing room. Until 1971, the players changed their clothes in the nearby family house of Uncle Gyula Hulák and washed in Uncle Laci Puskás’s family house. At that time, the football club’s seal stamp was still made of potatoes…
