; ,,The administration of the municipality of Vága was completely identical to that of the villages with Hungarian or mixed populations in southern Slovakia.
; According to the Decree No. 26 of the Presidium of the Slovak National Council dated April 7, 1945, the district offices, the municipal and district notaries were abolished and national committees were established in the localities with Slovak populations. In the villages with Hungarian or mixed populations in southern Slovakia, administrative commissioners (commissars) were appointed, and in better cases administrative committees could be established.
; The Slovak National Council, in accordance with the Decree No. 1945/4 adopted on February 27, 1945. Decree No. 1945/3. decreed the confiscation and immediate distribution of the traitorous landholdings of the Germans, Hungarians and the Slovak people.
; Republican Decree No. 1945/3. signed on August 2, 1945 deprived the Hungarians living in Czechoslovakia of their citizenship.
; With Decree No. 1945/6. of the Slovak National Council, Hungarian schools were closed, and then the Hungarian-Slovak population exchange agreement was signed in Budapest on February 27, 1946. Meanwhile, Decree No. 20,000/1946, dated July 27, issued by the Slovak Commissioner for Internal Affairs, supplemented the population exchange agreement.
