It was founded in 1950 by teacher Gyula Kaprinai. In 1955 it already had 19 members. They performed with great success at the district song and dance festival, which took place in the Szold garden. ; The jury awarded the Szeliek's program with first place. On May 1, 1955, they paraded and danced in Galánta, but the organizers removed the girls' green aprons from the Hungarian dresses.
