Česká zbrojovka (abbreviated as ČZ, Hungarian: Czech Weapons Factory) is a Czechoslovak machine-building company in Strakonice, South Bohemia. It was founded in 1919. Initially, it only produced firearms, and later bicycles and motorcycles. It used the brand name ČZ, or its shortened version, Čezet. ; In 1935, the production of motorcycles began, which was decisive in the company's later history for decades. From 1934, the company also produced machine tools. ; The company's first motorcycle model was the ČZ 175 with a 172.5 cm³ engine. In 1936, the company introduced a model with a 250 cm³ engine, the ČZ 250, and from 1938, the 350 cm³ ČZ 350 model was produced.
