Request from the Nemesradnót Foundation of the Csemads for the restoration of the statue of Lajos Pósa

The petition of the Csemads of Radnót to the Council of the Hungarian National Bank ; 1964. 3. 9. ; ; (...) The bust was removed from its pedestal in 1945 during the coup d'état. Our present petition is justified, among other things, by the fact that the cultural relations between our country and the people's democratic Hungary have been deepened in a welcome manner. ; (...) Our petition is not only unilateral, but also coincides with the wishes of the admirers of the great poet Lajos Pósa in our village. We believe that Lajos Pósa, a native of our village, deserves the favor that, as in 1934, the statue should now be returned to its rightful place in front of the school, where the original pedestal of the statue stands.
