The cross of Rozália Ohajda, Mrs. Pálné Zatyko (Carving cross)
Sacral small monument
In the small garden in front of house number 116, placed in a square concrete base, stands the cross of Rozália Ohajda Pálné Zatykó, an iron cross with a straight stem end and a corpus inscribed with INRI, the upper end of which is pointed. A round iron flower holder is welded to the lower cross stem, in which a porcelain vase is placed. The cast iron corpus is painted white, the loincloth is blue-green. Christ's face and legs are in a similar position as in the previous corpus. (his legs are nailed to the cross next to each other); The crucifix was erected by Rozália Ohajda Pálné Zatyko in the early 1990s, during the time of Father Zoltán Pintér. (Faragó Rozi nene) “First, he gave his saved money to Father Pintér to spend on the church. He didn’t have a cross erected during communism because his son-in-law was a teacher. Then he had a wooden cross made in Szklabonya, which is where the one stands today.” (Juhász Pálné) Currently, his daughter lives in the house with her husband.
