Vir dolorum (Man of Sorrows) statue in Nagyčétény
Sacral small monument
In the middle of the village stands the Vir dolorum statue, which was erected in 1772 and renovated in 1898 by András Vajda and his wife, Borbála Borbély. The statue was last repaired in 1999. On the square high pedestal stands the polychrome statue of the grieving Christ. There is a wrought iron fence around the statue.
