The tomb of Lajos Vecsey

Cemeteries, tombstones, graves

Lajos Vecsey was the director of the village's cultural life between the two world wars, as well as an assistant notary and a village judge. He is buried in the family grave with his parents. It is typical of the post-war anti-Hungarian policy that on August 27, 1945, he was beaten to death by a Slovak commissar assigned to the village.
