On Sunday, November 3, 2019, a Reformation and statue inauguration ceremony was held in Martos. In the Reformed church, Rev. Dr. Lilla Szénàsi preached on the occasion of the Reformation, then a wreath was laid at the memorial gate. ; After this, the bust of Lajos Vecsey was inaugurated on the wall of the István Zsittnyan Cultural Center. Mayor István Keszeg gave a celebratory speech, and then the sculptor Tibor Túri Török, Pro Cultura award-winning sculptor Ilona Mihalko, praised the artist. Our friends Ferenc Závoda, president of the Szarvasi Farmers' Nationality Tradition Preservation Association, representative of the Szarvas city and Békés county self-government, spoke on behalf of the donors. The statue of Lajos Vecsey was blessed by Rev. Dr. Szilárd Szénasi, pastor. The ceremony was closed by the Martos Tradition Preservation Group.
