Vágkirályfa World War I and II Memorial

In Vágkirályfá in 1998, the dedication of the World War II memorial and the renovated church were held on the same day: ; …After the mass, the celebration continued in the churchyard: the blessing of the memorial to the people of Vágkirályfá who fell in the First and Second World Wars took place there. At the memorial, the Zoltán Kodály Song Circle performed Zoltán Kodály's works: Ének Szent István királyhoz and Lajos Bárdos: Boldogasszony anyánk, followed by a speech by Pál Tóth, the mayor of the village. The ceremony of blessing the monument was performed by the bishop. The performance of the Galanta choir and the recitation of the actor Imre Boráros made the ceremony even more colorful. The celebration ended in front of the village hall with the raising of the village flag and the inauguration of its coat of arms. The choir sang Zoltán Kodály's choral work Felsállott a páva and Ferenc Erkel's Szózata… ; The monument is the work of András Csillag.
