Roadside cross (Big, Buris cross)

In the northern part of the village, along the main road leading to Ipolynyék, there is a roadside cross made of stone with a cast-iron body. It was erected “for the glory of God by ISTVÁN NAGY and his wife FRANCISKA BURIS in 1910.” There is a heart-shaped relief on the square pedestal. The cross is placed on a square pedestal, which has a heart-shaped relief, and as a reminder of World War II: bullet holes. A wooden cross from the beginning of the 19th century originally stood in this place.
