Sacral small monument
On the way from Nyárasd to Vásárút, not far from the canal, on the side towards Nyárasd, stands the cross. Its text is very worn and illegible. Originally, Ferenc Bognár had a wooden cross erected at this place in 1781, which was later built of stone in 1798. The repair and maintenance of this stone cross is evidenced by the foundation established by the widow of the late nobleman Ádám Bognár, born Erzsébet Csölle. This was signed by nobleman Mihály Bognár, the judge of the locality, the old juror Imre Szomolay and the local parish priest János Majer, on the 18th day of the month of Mindszent, 1842. This was also confirmed by the archdiocese of Nagyszombat on the 3rd of February 1843.
