Roadside cross
Sacral small monument
The cross was built in honor of the Virgin Mary by István Forró around 1840. ; The 80-90 year olds of Vága still remember a beautiful greeting, with which people greeted each other in church, accompanied by a handshake, or at other religious gatherings, e.g. at rosary devotions. The greeting was: "Sweetest Jesus!" And the response was: "Blessed Virgin Mary!" or "Glorious Virgin Mary!" This form of greeting was not only the privilege of men. When women sat down in the pew, they shook hands with both of their neighbors, and the same greeting was uttered. The handshake still exists today, but the greeting has been abandoned. ; It is also a beautiful form of greeting, with which those returning home from mass greet those who have stayed at home. This can still be heard today in the following phrase: "Praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ, let them rejoice in the Holy Mass!" The response: "May the good God grant it!"
