Roadside picture booth in Tejed

In Tejed, at the intersection of Bősi Street and Fürdő Street, there is a roadside image booth, an image column, a small sacred monument, which was erected in 1927. There are small religious statues inside. ; In December 2020, the Pázmaneum Association renovated the image booth on Bősi Street, which was erected in 1927. The statue of Our Lady of Help was placed there, which was blessed by Mons. László János Szakál, deacon of Dunaszerdahely, and ThDr. János Karaffa, spiritual father, on December 16. ; The creation of the image booth also symbolizes selflessness, as the masters Antal Kiss and Gyula Nagy undertook the work without any financial compensation. The city company, Municipal, and its director also immediately rushed to our aid – Mihály Svanda and József Jányi. I must also mention the Perczell and Lukács families, who took care of the statue niche for many years without any compensation, even after the old statue of the Virgin Mary was stolen from it.
