An old charter, which concerns Vága, was written around May 27-31, 1326. In it, the Esztergom chapter, in the person of the provost Theophil, proves that Gergely comes, son of Gergely Gyarmati, gives the village of Vága in Bratislava County with all its benefits, accessories, mills and everything that is there, to Bolesló, Archbishop of Esztergom, in payment of his debt. This charter shows that Gergely acquired the village of Vága, at a purchase price, when it came into his possession, unfortunately it is not clear from the charter. Archbishop Bolesló Piaszt acquired several estates and reacquired them for the Esztergom Archdiocese, which was the most significant church institution in the country. At the time of the acquisition of the village of Vága, the Esztergom Archdiocese already had estates in the area. lV. On August 28, 1283, King Ladislaus granted the land of the Bratislava Castle called Ouun (now Óny, Slovak: Únovce), which was located next to the archbishopric's estate called Zerdahel (now Dolná Streda, Slovak: Dolná Streda), to the Archbishop of Esztergom, Lodomér. So, at the time of the acquisition of Vága, Dolná Streda and Óny were already the property of the archbishopric.
