Tuba Gáspárné, née Zsemlye Hermina (1868-1948) was born in Ekel. Her husband Tuba Gáspár served as an assistant pastor in Kulcsodon between 1886-1887. Her daughter Tuba Hermina became the wife of József Gáspár, a pastor in Kulcsodon. After her husband's death, she moved to her daughter. ; The Ekel cemetery is home to pastor Tuba Gáspár (1862-1922), reformed teacher Pál Tuba (1904-1929) and pastor Károly Tuba (1893-1939).
