On June 6, 2020, the 100th anniversary of Trianon was commemorated in Nagymegyer, where, in addition to the commemoration, a cornerstone was laid. The motto of the cornerstone was the main lines of Albert Wass' poem "Message to Homeland": "...the stone remains..." ; The venue of the memorial ceremony was the Szent István Park. Zsuzsanna Bittera, the president of the Nagymegyer branch of the Csemadok, gave a ceremonial speech, Andrea Csémi and her daughter, Virág Csémi Csilla, performed, and after the inauguration of the foundation stone, Bishop József Mahulányi blessed the monument. ; Gergő Holényi, the mayor of Nagymegyer, made this statement about Trianon Memorial Day. ,,In my opinion, the centennial anniversary should be about our being able to forgive. After all, no matter how much they tried to crush the Hungarian nation with the Trianon peace dictate, this gave rise to a resurrection, our nation was reshaped, and we did not weaken, but became much stronger. We can be proud of who we are, who we have become, and who we can still be."
