Statue of Saint Florian in Tósnyárasd
Statue, monument, memorial plaque
The village's first small sacred monument was the statue of St. Florian, which was erected on November 5, 1808, by the village's landlord János Perényi on the grounds that the settlement did not have a sacred memorial site. The statue had been damaged in the meantime, and therefore the Tósnyárasd Municipality had it renovated in 1995. Today, the statue is one of the symbols of the village, the site of numerous historical commemorations (March 15).
