Historical Memorial Park - The St. Stephen's Days and the headstone erected in memory of its initiator, László Kovács

In memory of the Saint Stephen Days held between 1990 and 2010 and its initiator, László Kovács, the headstone was inaugurated on August 21, 2010, during the XX. Saint Stephen Days. The headstone was unveiled by Edit Bauer, EP representative. ; ; The memorial park located at the end of Szent István Street was gradually developed by the Csemadok Nagymegyer Organization between 1996 and 2010. There are five headstones in the memorial park: ; - a headstone made on the occasion of the 1100th anniversary of the conquest of Hungary ; - a headstone made on the occasion of the 730th anniversary of the first written mention of the city ; - a headstone made on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the re-establishment of the 23rd Arany János Scout Troop ; - a headstone made for the anniversary of the founding of the Csemadok foundation organization; - a headstone made in memory of the 20th St. Stephen's Days and its initiator, László Kovács, former parish priest of Nagymegyer (1976-2001)
