Historical Memorial Park - Headstone of the 1100th Anniversary of the Conquest

In memory of the millecentenary, a gift from the Transylvanian Szentegyháza Children's Philharmonic to Nagymegyer, on August 15, 1996. ; ; The memorial park located at the end of Szent István Street was gradually developed by the Nagymegyer Organization of the Csemadok between 1996 and 2010. There are five headstones in the memorial park: ; – a headstone made on the occasion of the 1100th anniversary of the conquest of Hungary ; – a headstone made on the occasion of the 730th anniversary of the first written mention of the city ; – a headstone made on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the re-establishment of the 23rd Arany János Scout Troop ; – a headstone made on the anniversary of the establishment of the Csemadok basic organization ; – a headstone made on the occasion of the XX. A headstone made in memory of St. Stephen's Days and its initiator, László Kovács, former parish priest of Nagymegyer (1976-2001)
