Cemeteries, tombstones, graves
The estate in the village was acquired by Gáspár Tersztyánszky IV (1673-1739), whose wife was Eszter Zsuzsanna Blaskóczy, and they were the first to move to Nagyfalu. He had three sons (Sándor, Mihály, Gáspár), of whom the family was expanded by Mihály I (1700-1774) - he was already born in Nagyfalu, and his wife was Anna Brenitzky. Their son Mihály II (1753-1825) was a clerk for Count Koháry, and then became the chief accountant of Hont County. He bought extensive estates in the area, thus ensuring his descendants. He was married three times, his first wife was Anna Langmayer from Ipolyhídvég, his second was Zsuzsanna Tanács, and his third was Emerencia Stummer (1831). He had three daughters (Júlia, Fáni, Anna), and then five sons were born (Imre, Bálint, Antal, Sándor, Bertalan). His third wife gave birth to their son Sándor (1795-1860), who was the chief notary of Hont County from 1824, the first vice-governor of Hont between 1836-1839, and then a national judge and royal councilor. His wife was Teréz Kmosko of Bernice (1798-1844), whose tombstone was erected by her children: Erzsébet, Gyula and István. She is buried in the local cemetery, as is her son Gyula (1832-1858), who was a talented poet. His son György (1834-1859) was a captain of the Royal and Royal Hussars, was wounded in Magente, and died in Cremona.
