Temple Garden or Czibula Cross
Sacral small monument
In the center of today's village, near the confluence of the Csábi stream and the Keszihóci stream, the crucifix stood even before the church was built, and is still visible today. The dedication of the Temple Garden or Czibula Cross reads: “For the glory of God/ György Czibula/ erected/1871.” The person who erected it later also made a foundation to maintain the memory. The 1912 Canonica visitatio records the foundation of the cross by György Czibula in 1875. ; The rounded arms of the grayish stone cross end with a lace decoration. The inscription INRI can be read on the upper arm of the three-stepped cross, and below it is a beautiful whitish cast iron corpus with a brown loincloth. According to some recollections, a wooden cross stood here even before 1871.
