The central cross of the Barti cemetery was erected in 1774, it is the oldest sacred monument of the settlement. Over the years, it has had to be renovated several times. The last time it was toppled was in 2004 by a hurricane-force windstorm. The cross broke into seven parts, and the body also into six pieces. After the renovation, it was erected again. The memorial plaque placed on the left side of the cross contains the names of the former parish priests who worked in the village and were buried around the cross according to old custom.
