The angel travels from village to city

1. The angel flies from village to city, ; He announces that this night is holy. ; He announces great joy to Mary, ; He prepares a resting place for her holy son. ; ; 2. The angel flies from village to city, ; He flutters his bright wings joyfully, ; The divine child is born, ; Whom I hasten to adore myself. ; ; 3. The angel flies to the city of Bethlehem, ; He finds the shepherds sleeping, ; Arise, quickly, do not delay, ; Hurry to go to Bethlehem. ; ; 4. The angel flies, the shepherds would hurry, ; They would go to Bethlehem that very night, ; They would find Jesus in the manger, ; Among the cattle, in a ragged stable. ; ; 5. Great glory be to the Father, ; And to the Son born for us, ; And to the Holy Spirit the Comforter, ; In the Holy Trinity also to God.
