Grotto of the Immaculate Heart of the Virgin Mary
Sacral small monument
The Immaculate Heart of the Virgin Mary grotto in front of house number 399 was built by József Orem and his wife, née Mária Nozdrovicky (bell ringer), in the small garden of their family home. It was consecrated by Father Zoltán Pintér around 1989. It is actually a small cave-like chapel made of grayish-white natural stone on a concrete base, ending in a semicircular arch. On its altar, covered with a white, crocheted, floral-patterned tablecloth, stands a statue of the Virgin Mary behind a glazed door with an iron cross. Next to her are flower vases, in front of her is an iron crucifix. The Virgin Mary is seen in a blue cloak, with a halo around her head. She holds her right hand over her heart, and there are lilies in her left.
