Chapel of the Virgin Mary

A small church, also mentioned by Antal Gyürky, was built in the village in 1845. In fact, it was the Virgin Mary Chapel, built by the widow of the landowner János Cseh, whose altarpiece - according to the village chronicle - depicted the Immaculate Conception. The larger chapel also served as a church for the locals for decades. It was later converted and a school operated in it. The ruined building still stands in the lower half of the village today.
