István Szőke (* 29 Aug. 1888, Pálfala, † 28 Nov. 1936, Rozsnyó) was a Reformed pastor, historian, church writer, and newspaper editor. He studied at the Rimaszombat gymnasium and the Sárospatak theological academy. He was a pastor in Rozsnyó for the longest time. In 1928, he was invited to the Losonc theological seminary as a lecturer in history.
